Milia are very small, raised, pearly-white or yellowish bumps on the skin. They are most commonly seen on the skin around the cheeks, nose, eyes and eyelids, forehead and rarely on chest. 
Milia formation happen when dead skin cells and excess oil collect in the upper layer of the skin and eventually they accumulate keratin and toughen up.
